Introduced in March 1966 as the Leisure Collection, now known as the 1966 Collection, Schultz described it as “a breath of fresh air” for modernists, envisioning chairs that allowed wind, sun, and rain to pass freely while still offering comfort. Description

The 1966 Collection is built with a steel frame coated in weather-resistant polyester, designed to endure even harsh outdoor conditions. The breathable woven mesh seat ensures air circulation, and the waterfall seat edge enhances comfort during prolonged use. Every aspect of the chair has been engineered to resist corrosion, UV exposure, and humidity, making it ideal for terraces, gardens, and coastal environments. Each chair comes fully assembled, weighs approximately 11 pounds, and is easy to handle, while a fitted protective cover is available separately. The product comes with a one-year warranty under applicable terms and conditions.
