Description

The Wish bed, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, stands out for its refined material choices and attention to detail. The solid oak frame, available in three finishes (graphite, black, and coffee), gives it an elegant and sturdy character. The headboard cushions feature a polyurethane foam insert and sterilized down, covered in 100% cotton, ensuring unmatched comfort. The perimeter guides, upper bands, and adjustable metal bed support are made with high-quality materials, including birch and tropicalized metal. The solid wood feet complete the design, ensuring stability and an elegant appearance. The customizable, removable external cover adds versatility and practicality to the product. An optional central bed support provides additional stability.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
