Description
The D.R.D.P. (Double Rêve du Primetemps) two-seater, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 1989, is distinguished by its sculptural structure and complex construction. The base is made from solid American walnut, with thin supports that hold the upholstered plywood seat, designed to offer minimal comfort while maintaining a light and fluid aesthetic. The inclined section of the sofa and the sinuous shapes are accentuated by the central table, made from sandblasted glass with a silver finish, which serves as a connecting element. The technical construction is highly complex, featuring an organic-profiled layout that gives the piece a great visual lightness, inspired by Ceccotti’s Hypnos armchair. The result is a piece of furniture that combines elegance and functionality, with an innovative design that plays on the suspended effect and the interaction between sculptural forms and the delicacy of materials.
