Description

The first re-edition was carried out in 1974 in collaboration with Charlotte Perriand and featured a single size with a chrome frame; over time, both finishes and dimensions have evolved. The current version, available as a two- or three-seater with leather or fabric upholstery, features cushions filled with 100% recycled PET wadding bonded to velveteen, forming both seat and backrest. The steel frame, offered in lacquered or chrome-plated versions, includes elastic webbing, while the angular metal base – a key visual element – is presented in seven collection colours, achieving a refined balance between heritage design and contemporary sustainable focus.

Today, Cassina is a leader in the contract furniture sector, continuing to leave its mark on the most exclusive projects designed by renowned international architects.
