Description

The Sincro sliding doors represent the perfect blend of minimalist design and innovative technologies. Their structure is made from high-quality materials, with finishes in oak, pewter, or iris, and extra-clear glass. The frame of the doors, as well as the carter and jamb, are coated with wood veneer in sunrise oak or coffee oak finishes, while the handle and decorative profiles are available in pewter or iris finishes. The fixing system is designed to ensure maximum durability, with ceiling or recessed rails made of anodized black aluminum and a frame in galvanized sheet metal. The door weighs approximately 28 kg/m² and fits openings of varying widths, with single compositions ranging from 1880 mm to 4855 mm and double compositions from 3715 mm to 9965 mm. The maximum height of the door is 3000 mm, whether using a ceiling or recessed rail. It is possible to customize the doors according to required dimensions, subject to feasibility verification. The ceiling load capacity must be checked before installation. Double openings can only be made using rails of the same size.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
