Description
Originally created for the editorial offices of the Parisian weekly La Semaine à Paris as part of a collective project by members of the Union des Artistes Modernes, the desk was modified by Perriand with the addition of a metal filing drawer and an enlarged glass surface with an integrated pencil groove. Today, the desk features a thick transparent tempered float glass top, supported by a color-painted frame and a metal drawer unit that incorporates a cable management compartment and an easily accessible USB Type A+C port. The polished chrome tubular steel legs, black rubber top supports, and chrome feet with adhesive felt pads complete the structure. Combining historical authenticity with modern functionality, the desk is designed with contemporary office needs in mind, offering both refined aesthetics and technical integration.
