Description

The frame is made of natural anodised extruded aluminium, upholstered in fabric or leather, while the slim feet are crafted from polished die-cast aluminium, lending the bed an elegant and contemporary look. The headboard, padded with CFC-free polyurethane foam, features a refined capitonné workmanship developed and patented by Cassina, enriching the leather or fabric upholstery. Available in various sizes, the headboard can be low or high, both options offering fittings for reading lamps to suit diverse functional and aesthetic needs. The base version includes a support surface in upholstered poplar plywood with a central crosspiece and black-painted iron plates, whereas the Zefiro version uses a beech plywood frame with an interior made from eco-friendly Tubes® polyurethane technology. The careful material processing and meticulous finishes make Volage a furnishing solution that blends lightness, technology, and artisanal quality.
