Description

The Bjhon 1 column washbasin is made of Cristalplant® biobased, marble (Bianco Carrara, Grigio Carnico, Nero Marquina, Verde Alpi) or pigmented concrete, with a basin diameter of about 47 cm and a column height of around 90 cm, and a simple cylindrical bowl without a tap hole, intended for wall‑mounted taps. The conical stainless‑steel column (powder‑coated white or black) contains the drain chamber, and the model is offered in different drain types (wall, island, outdoor), each with appropriate waste fittings and fixing kits, to suit niched, freestanding or outdoor layouts. The bowl surface can be smooth and velvety (concrete or Cristalplant®) or naturally polished marble, giving a very tactile, material feel that echoes Mangiarotti’s sculptural language. Bjhon 1 belongs to a family that also includes countertop versions: the column variant is ideal for high‑end residential and hospitality bathrooms where the basin acts as a strong, free‑standing, object‑like element within the room.
