Loico, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1987 and reissued by Agapecasa, is an imposing modular bookshelf made entirely of marble. The system consists of cylindrical stackable supporting elements and shelves that are fixed to them through special joints, allowing for great modular flexibility in both height and width. To balance the natural weight of the stone, the shelves are lightened and reinforced internally with honeycomb aluminum panels, painted in colors coordinated with the type of marble chosen (Bianco Carrara, Nero Marquinia, Grigio Carnico, Verde Alpi, Emperador Dark).
