Lisière is a modular rug by Paola Lenti, designed by CRS, created for residential and hospitality interiors (living rooms, bedrooms, lounges, offices). It is a frame-woven rug joining elements of different dimensions and the same color. The textured and soft surface is formed by a large central panel and two smaller side panels. Between these and around the rug perimeter, strips of the same material made from elements of varying length are inserted and sewn with Zigzag stitch, embellished with machine embroidery.

Description

Lisière stands out for frame-weaving craftsmanship combining artisan tradition and contemporary modular design. The rug is made joining elements of different dimensions and the same color, all frame-woven with polyester yarn used for Aston fabric. The textured yet soft surface is formed by a large central panel and two smaller side panels. Between these and around the rug perimeter, strips of the same material made from varying-length elements are inserted and sewn with Zigzag stitch. The seams are finally embellished with machine embroidery. The rug is finished along the entire perimeter with a tone-on-tone cord obtained with the same yarn used for weaving surface elements. The width of main elements varies according to rug dimensions. Only one color can be chosen. Available in Aston 10 colors. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, lounges, and offices.
