Designed in 1925 while he was an apprentice at the Bauhaus, the chair distilled the classic club chair to its essential lines, becoming a lasting symbol of modernism. The original prototype captured the attention of Wassily Kandinsky, for whom the chair is named, while the 2024 ultra-matte dark red, onyx, and white editions reinterpret the iconic form for a contemporary setting. The frame bears the Knoll logo and designer signature, ensuring lifetime authentication. Delivered fully assembled, the chair measures 28¾ inches high, 31 inches wide, 27 inches deep, weighs 25 pounds, and comes with a five-year warranty.
