The table lamp PD-4 Barba Corsini and Joaquim Ruiz Millet collection of Gubi Pedrera is a cylindrical table lamp made of perforated metal and available in four colors. Many architects and furniture designers of the Bauhaus era were intent on providing homes and furnishings made of impeccably 's "common man". In 1955, Barba Corsini, a functionalist architect, realized his vision of contemporary art through the renovation of the loft space and furnishings, designing "La Pedrera". Antoni Gaudi, who originally had planned "La Pedrera", is generally considered the greatest teacher of Spanish Modernism, but his unique body of work can not be defined by a unique style. Corsini was a great admirer of Finnish Architecture, which he believed to be the best in Europe because of the powerful simplicity of the drawings. Pedrera lamps are modern and classic. Some of the lamps were designed by Barba Corsini, some in collaboration with his protege, Joaquim Ruiz Millet.
