Description

The geometric rigor of the headboard is balanced by the softness of the generously padded bed frame and reclining headboard cushions, which allow a semi-upright position for reading or watching TV. Available in multiple sizes, Newbridge comes in several versions: with just a padded frame, with a rigid base, with a slatted base adjustable to four different heights (5.5 cm, 8 cm, 10.5 cm, 13 cm), or with a lift-up storage compartment ideal for storing linens, cushions, or blankets. The bed frame is made of multilayer wood with polyurethane padding covered in protective fabric; the base features a metal platform with wooden slats. The backrest includes a reclining mechanism built into a metal, polyurethane, and dacron structure. The bed comes with a removable cover, available in fabric or leather, and the headboard requires a choice between a wooden shelf or drawer. Slatted bases are supplied in two parts, except for storage bed versions.
