Description

The Chelsea chairs, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in 2014, combine elegance and durability with a solid wood structure. Available in colors like eucalyptus, graphite oak, black oak, sunrise oak, and coffee oak, these chairs can also be customized with glossy lacquer finishes in silice, moka, and black for models CSE1, CSB1, and CSB2, provided a minimum order of 4 chairs is placed. Delivery times will be confirmed upon ordering.

The chairs are crafted using high-quality materials, such as solid beech wood for the frame, and high-density polyurethane foam padding for comfort and durability. The seat and backrest are designed to provide lasting comfort, and the covers are removable and available in various options.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
