Description
The backrest structure is made of steel, finished with black scratch-resistant paint. A weave of elastic belts around the edges of the structure supports the backrest, while the shaped upper part is made of deformable rubber. The seat frame is made of beech wood, finished with black scratch-resistant paint. The pouf structure is made of birch plywood with a base in scratch-resistant matte black lacquered beech. The suspension is ensured by elastic belts. The armchair backrest padding consists of a moulded polyurethane foam lumbar cushion attached to the metal structure using Velcro and covered with a goose down quilt. The seat and pouf padding is made from moulded polyurethane foam, covered with a goose down quilt, and fixed to the cushion using Velcro strips. The base consists of four steel feet connected to a ruthenium-finished perimeter frame, with protective glossy black nylon glides and plastic or felt caps. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric, including Safari, Fabric B*, or C.O.M. following technical checks (only Gaban and Loop fabrics). The stitching in the leather version is available in tone-on-tone or contrasting styles, while the fabric version always features tone-on-tone stitching. Removability is always possible: the armchair upholstery is completely removable and is fixed to the structure using snap fasteners and Velcro strips. The leather seat cushion upholstery can also be removed. Aesthetic details in the leather version include the edges of the upholstery, adorned with raw-cut leather painted by hand in a matching colour. The Poltrona Frau logo is branded on the rear of the armchair backrest and on the side of the pouf. In the fabric version, the logo is branded front/back on a Saddle Extra Cammello leather tab.
