Description

The external structure, made of high-density polyurethane resin, encloses an internal frame in steel tubes and profiles, offering both strength and lightness. The seat cushion and padding are composed of flexible polyurethane foam, covered with a water-repellent polyester fiber lining that is entirely recyclable. The feet, crafted from painted stainless steel, include plastic support tips. The chair is available in anthracite and ivory finishes for the structure, while the feet feature a burnished metal finish.

The upholstery, available in a selection of dedicated fabrics, is fully removable. Designed for outdoor spaces, the chair requires special care in case of rain. It is also suitable for collective environments.
No size reductions or finish variations are possible. When placing an order, the structure and feet finishes must be specified.

The D.154.2 Outdoor armchair measures 74 cm in width, 120 cm in depth, and 81 cm in height, with a seat height of 41 cm.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
