Description

The backrest shell is made of moulded polyurethane foam. The seat structure is made of seasoned beech wood and birch plywood. The suspension consists of hand-tied biconical steel springs fixed to jute belts. The seat cushion, integrated into the structure, is made of moulded polyurethane foam. The base is available in fixed or swivel versions, made of wood or metal. The fixed wooden base has an MDF structure with a black textured finish, while the fixed metal base has a birch plywood structure and an external cover made of shaped steel sheet with a gunmetal grey finish. The swivel wooden base has a birch plywood structure with a black textured finish, while the swivel metal base has a birch plywood structure and an external cover made of shaped brass sheet with a gunmetal grey finish. The swivel mechanism allows the armchair to rotate 360° and return automatically to the starting position. The upholstery is fully in Pelle Frau® leather (SC and Nest also in a two-colour version) or in a combination of materials, with the first upholstery applied to the external shell and the second to the internal surface. The upholstery is not removable. The edges are finished with a perimeter piping in the same material chosen for the internal surface, with two exceptions: in the fully upholstered version in Pelle Frau®, the perimeter piping is also available in gros-grain, and when the external shell is in leather, the piping is always in leather.
