Description

Outline is an elegant and functional design piece, featuring a welded steel frame painted with powder coating and a seat made of molded fiberglass. The external upholstery is removable, and the metal legs are available in finishes such as pewter, black nickel, and iris. The version with metal legs includes a cold-bent steel carter, painted under vacuum. The feet are made of anti-slip plastic material. To ensure high quality and safety, the product complies with TB117 or BS5852 standards. The fabric upholstery is dry clean only.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
