Roberto Lazzeroni designed the Diva chair, a natural evolution of the Vittoria seats, which celebrated their twentieth anniversary in 2016. The purity of the design is inspired by aesthetic elements deeply rooted in the history of Poltrona Frau, immediately recognizable. The curved detail at the end of the backrest is a stylized reference to the classics, while the pleats at the corners of the seat and the use of biconical springs for the suspension come from a long-standing tradition.

Description

The Diva chair, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, combines elegance and tradition with a shell made of rigid moulded polyurethane foam and armrests in the same material for the small armchair version. The seat frame is made of birch plywood, while the suspension is provided by hand-tied biconical steel springs fastened to jute belts, a detail that reflects long-standing craftsmanship. The backrest is padded with moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, and the seat is padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat base and legs are made of solid ash wood, available in wenge or moka stain finishes, with felt pads to protect the floor. Special finishes are available at an additional cost, including ash stained according to sample or lacquered in a custom RAL colour, with a surcharge and a minimum delivery time of 60 days. The upholstery can be in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric, offering a wide range of options, but removability is not possible.
