The external outline of the horizontal tabletop is very thin and stiff, achieved by bending the aluminum sheet along inclined planes. Originally designed for the Fondation Cartier in Paris, the LessLess tables stand out for their intrinsic elegance and light lines in any environment.

Description

LessLess is a table range designed by Jean Nouvel in 1994, available in various sizes and finishes. The table structure is made from a corner element in extruded aluminum, painted in Molteni colors, providing both strength and elegance. The tabletop consists of a reinforced box-section aluminum sheet with folded and ribbed wedges, joined together with epoxy glue and painted in Molteni's signature colors. The feet of the table are made of nylon, ensuring stability and durability.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
