Description

The Infinito table comes in two distinct models: one oval, measuring 220x124 cm, and one in the shape of “∞”, measuring 340x120 cm. The base is made of white Carrara marble, sculpted from a monolith using CNC machinery and hand-finished. The base rests on the ground via a white plastic slide. The oval table is supported by a single base, while the “∞” shaped table is held up by two bases. The top is made of Verde Lepanto marble, extracted from a Rosso Lepanto marble quarry in Turkey. A limited section of the mountain has taken on a deep sage color with darker green shades, crossed by typical light veins and a few reddish inclusions. The marble is treated with a transparent polyester finish, enhancing its surface resistance and preventing liquid absorption. The top is supported by a scratch-proof, matt black lacquered MDF supporting panel. The oval table features a glossy polyester finish, while the “∞” table includes a polished stainless steel blade insert that refines the joint between the two parts of the top. A polished stainless steel plate with the table's serial number and the Poltrona Frau logo is applied to the sloping edge of the supporting panel. The series is limited and numbered: oval tables 220x124 (64 pieces) and “∞” tables 340x120 (8 pieces). The weight of the tables without packaging is 286.5 kg for the oval table (1 base: 126 kg; top: 127 kg; supporting panel: 33.5 kg) and 491 kg for the “∞” table (2 bases: 126 kg + 126 kg; top: 189 kg; supporting panel: 50 kg).
