Description

Its slender, sculptural frame is composed of two pairs of square-section metal uprights shaped like a “Y”. The internal arms converge elegantly beneath the monolithic tempered glass top, while the external arms splay outward, securing the surface with a lateral brass stopper. A double metal crossbar strengthens the base, opening near the sides in a graphic double “V” formation. The design is enriched by arrow-shaped solid wood feet and prominent brass screws—technical elements elevated to decorative detail, a testament to refined craftsmanship. The result is a perfect harmony of strength and lightness, structural clarity and poetic tension. Reissued by Cassina as part of the iMaestri Collection, Olimpino is available in two sizes and a single height, preserving its timeless ability to serve as a discreet yet striking presence in today’s contemporary interiors.
