Description
Designed in 1930, Blevio is a table created by Ignazio Gardella (1905-1999) as a one-of-a-kind piece for his family residence, Villa Usuelli in Blevio, on Lake Como. This extraordinarily harmonious and timeless piece of furniture has become a collective heritage. It encapsulates the purest characteristics of Gardella's design approach, reflecting the work of an architect already established in the Italian architectural scene. During the same years, Gardella completed significant projects such as the Vittorio Emanuele III Sanatorium in Alessandria (1928-1938), with its rationalist church, the Laboratory of Hygiene and Prophylaxis (1933-1938), and the Antitubercular Dispensary (1933-1938).
