Description

The Timeout Collection’s two-seater sofa is available in two versions, both with two cushions, and comes in widths of 150 and 180 cm. The painted bronze aluminum frame features a double curvature at the seat crossbar, designed to soften the edge, and is highlighted by a polypropylene rope cover. This hand-woven material, with a pattern inspired by the Mediterranean tradition of baskets and carriers, adds warmth to the minimalist structure. The material and color contrast gives the Timeout Collection a contemporary and timeless elegance. The collection also includes tables with tops in teak or lava stone, a pouf, and a generously proportioned armchair with or without armrests, designed with a focus on ergonomics to ensure maximum comfort.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
