The black-painted metal structure is fully clad in leather, precision-cut with CNC technology, then sewn and shaped by hand to fit like a second skin, enhanced by visible saddlery stitching that marks the joints. Each leg is finished with an interior zipper closure, echoing tailored garment construction. Offered in a wide range of colour combinations grouped into six chromatic families, Cab Tab pairs its leather-clad base with a top in either polished or matte marble or in wood, the latter featuring a distinctive X-pattern inlay crafted with the expert skill of Cassina’s joinery workshop. The result is a sculptural, sophisticated and functional piece that perfectly balances technical precision, material richness and aesthetic elegance.
