Teso is a sculptural object with completely new shapes, where its lightness and solidity captivate and engage without any restrictions. The structure is created by first perforating a round steel sheet using laser engravings, followed by stretching it. Functionality is ensured by transparent extralight glass surfaces, which allow for the appreciation of the complex structural forms from every angle of observation.

Description

Teso is a table with an innovative design, featuring a structure made of matte brushed stainless steel or bronze-painted steel, combined with a transparent extra-clear glass top. The base is made of a laser-cut steel sheet, mechanically stretched, while the top, 12 mm thick, is tempered extra-clear glass with a beveled and satin finish. The design allows the complexity of the structure to be appreciated from every angle, making each view a unique experience.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
