Description

The load-bearing structure of Cestlavie is crafted from an oval-section aluminum tube at the top, internally reinforced by twelve shaped rods integrated into the leather weave. The steel legs, connected to the structure through die-cast aluminum joints, feature adjustable steel feet with protective felt pads. The structure and legs are available in burnished and gunmetal finishes. The basket is shaped by an interlacing of 2 mm thick Saddle Extra leather strips, with a transparent wax finish on the inner surface, secured and hand-stitched to a leather disc at the bottom. The closure is designed with two semicircular MDF panels, joined at the center by a solid beech crosspiece that acts as a hinge, allowing a full 180° opening. Every component of the lid is upholstered in tone-on-tone Pelle Frau®, enhancing the refinement and artisanal excellence of this exquisite piece.
