Description
The design was revisited in 1943 in Vietnam, where Perriand adapted it using the materials and artisanal techniques available during the war. Originally made with three legs, later evolving into a four-legged version, the piece reflects her ability to adjust design to context with ingenuity and sensitivity. Cassina reissues this model with deep respect for the original concept, offering a structure in natural walnut or black-stained ashwood, with cold-moulded polyurethane foam padding and quilted fabric or leather upholstery. The result is an iconic seat, essential yet sophisticated, where design, comfort and artisanal excellence come together.
