Description

The distinctive arched steel supports, offered in various finishes, lift the shell with architectural grace, while the interplay of contrasting materials gives the piece an eclectic quality that adapts easily to different domestic contexts. Originally padded with sharply cut foam, the armchair is now reissued with differentiated-density polyurethane foam to preserve its crisp lines and ensure superior comfort. The frame is made from tubular steel with elastic belts, a curved metal plate in selectable finishes, and wood inserts. The internal padding includes a light protective velvet layer, while the external cover—available in fabric or leather—can be chosen from the Cassina collections. The feet are made of plastic material. Both seat and back cushions are removable and upholstered in the same covering options, helping define the quiet but distinctive identity of a piece that continues to interpret contemporary living with refined coherence.
