Tortello presents itself as a sofa with a monolithic design that immediately captures attention with its wide, soft, and welcoming shapes. As the name suggests, its appearance is bold and striking. The composition of the sofa includes several surprising elements: the supporting base, made from recycled polyethylene using rotational molding technology, takes the form of a tray with a trapezoidal base. Above this, an elastomer mattress supports a foam upper part, which, with its soft volume, is covered in a distinctive fabric with a "pinched" stitching. Tortello stands out for its responsible approach to production, using innovative techniques and cutting-edge materials. The philosophy of recycling and circularity is at the heart of this collection, with a structure made from second-life polyethylene and the addition of components in expanded polyurethane and thermoplastic elastomers that define both comfort and geometry. Despite the minimal amount of polyurethane used, softness is ensured through targeted construction choices. Additionally, the assembly of the elements without the use of adhesives or glues makes Tortello fully disassemblable, thus facilitating recycling at the end of its life cycle.
