Description
While echoing the same refined material qualities, its structure – a brushed metal frame with protective transparent lacquer and visible burnished screws – is inverted compared to the original and scaled down, making it suitable for smaller spaces. The float glass top, featuring bevelled edges with polished finish and rounded corners, is supported by brass spacers and rests on black rubber feet. In 2009, Tobia Scarpa enriched the original octagonal top – already extended to include rectangular, square and round formats – with a new version named Elistella, whose elongated circular shape is thoughtfully based on Bernoulli’s Spiral.
