Description

Technically, the Bjhon 2 column washbasin has a diameter of about 54.5 cm and a height of about 90 cm, with a full‑cycle bowl and no tap‑hole, designed to be used with wall‑mounted or floor‑mount taps. The basin can be made in Cristalplant® biobased or various marble finishes (Bianco di Carrara, Grigio Carnico, Nero Marquina, Verde Alpi, Emperador dark and Petit Granit), with the drain integrated into the column, enabling installations as an island or against a wall, with a rear opening for service connections as needed. The unit is free‑drain, supplied with a waste plug MET0563 in the same finish as the basin, and the floor‑drain version requires the MET0475 trap. The design reinterprets Angelo Mangiarotti’s 1970 concept for contemporary use, turning the basin into an architectural element that interacts with the floor, light and surroundings, making it well suited for high‑end residences, hotels and spa‑oriented projects.
