Description

Corsetto sculpts an embracing form where generous padding and structured frame dialogue in aesthetic tension. Removable fabric or leather upholstery heightens sensory appeal, suited for intimate or display settings. It embodies Mohaded’s hybridity, merging craft and industry into an iconic piece.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
