Description
Its structure featured three circular-section legs joined by crosspieces that supported an interchangeable top, designed to be replaced easily depending on the intended use or setting. This concept of versatile functionality would become a constant in Perriand’s work, reappearing in many of her later projects—from the Japanese pieces of the 1940s, where the tops were woven with local materials, to the living areas of the Unité d’Habitation apartments in Marseille. Today, this timeless table becomes part of the Cassina I Maestri Collection also in its outdoor version, which remains true to the original design and is offered in two sizes like the indoor model. The structure is made of solid teak with a natural finish, and the top is crafted in Carrara marble with a special oil-water repellent treatment, making it suitable for outdoor use while preserving the elegance and integrity of Perriand’s original vision.
