Description
The armchair's structure is made of steel with light polyurethane padding. The side and back panels are connected by visible metal zippers with a ruthenium finish. The seat structure is in steel and aluminum with a ruthenium finish, resting on a seasoned solid wood frame with a metal structure to attach the swivel mechanism. The seat spring system is made of woven saddle leather straps, reinforced with a technical insert for durability, while the armchair features elastic belt springs. The seat cushion is filled with polyurethane foam, and the backrest cushion is filled with goose down and polyurethane foam, resting loosely. The armrest cushions are filled with goose down. The feet are made of steel with a galvanic ruthenium finish, and protective plastic caps are included. The armchair sits on a 4-spoke base with a mechanism allowing 360° rotation and automatic return to its starting point. The upholstery can be made entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or in combinations of various materials, including fabrics like ColorSphere®, Nest, Soul, and Velvety. The upholstery of the backrest and side panels features a three-dimensional stitching pattern that creates a texture of small leather diamonds, typical of haute-couture, while the seat cushions are enhanced with a handmade X-stitch with contrast thread. The leather cushions have a micro-perforated strip on the back.
