The Turner bookshelf features a three-tier revolving load-bearing structure that extends vertically like a building. Each level has grooves that serve as tracks, allowing for the addition or removal of divider panels, creating various combinations and a continuous play of solids and voids. The internal load-bearing structure is made of metal, enclosed in a central column made of birch plywood panels veneered with Canaletto walnut. The top is made of birch plywood, coated with a double layer of Canaletto walnut and finished at the bottom to balance the structure. It is topped with a revolving circular MDF top, covered in leather or hide. The intermediate shelves are made of birch plywood with solid Canaletto walnut inserts and finished with double walnut veneer. These shelves feature grooves for positioning the divider panels, which are made of birch plywood with Canaletto walnut veneer and solid wood edges. The bookshelf comes with 21 divider panels, 7 for each level, which can be freely positioned. The base is circular, made of black-painted steel, and the rotating mechanism includes two self-lubricating bearings, allowing for independent rotation of the base and the bookshelves. Aesthetic details include the Poltrona Frau logo, laser-engraved on the upper column. The bookshelf has a maximum load capacity of 30 kg per shelf, with the revolving top supporting up to 5 kg. An optional divider panel kit, consisting of three additional panels, is also available.
