Description
Its distinctive structure results from the meeting of two opposing geometric elements: the circle, expressed through a solid tabletop in oak or American walnut, and the cube, referenced by a base composed of round-section tubular steel, welded and arranged at right angles. The steel frame, painted in the colors available in the collection, supports a particle board surface edged and finished with wood veneer, treated with open-pore transparent matt varnish. The minimalist, dynamic style of this piece translates into a refined object of significant aesthetic value, suitable for domestic settings or as a conference table for up to ten people. Manufactured by Cassina since 2010, it remains a modern design icon, perfectly capturing Le Corbusier’s architectural vision where geometric purity meets functional intent.
