Description

The dining table from the Timeout Collection offers a contemporary take on the archetype of outdoor tables, featuring a slatted top that allows water to drain. Available in 6 or 8-seat versions, it stands out for its harmonious proportions and the careful selection of materials, making it a perfect match for Molteni&C’s new outdoor collections. The structure incorporates a slatted aluminum band in a burnished finish, with a rounded profile that eliminates corners, while the slatted legs naturally extend the metal band's flow. The top is available in two variants: solid teak slats or lava stone slabs in anthracite, olive green, and desert yellow, with a slightly rough surface that evokes the natural quality of stone. Designed for outdoor environments, this table requires special care in case of rain (see maintenance and waterproof covers). Suitable for collective use (Contract), the table will be shipped disassembled, and the top finish should be carefully selected at the time of the order.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
