Fuji is a walnut table with a design signed by T. Colzani for Porada. The top, with solid wood edge, is composed of 12 panels coupled in pairs to create the wedge inlay, which ends in a central decorative and functional element. The space created at the central point can be used as a vase holder or to accommodate the rotating Fuji Tray. The base is worked with a single panel with twelve cuts using folding technique and ends with a counterweight in bronze-painted metal. Interesting, special, unusual and with a great creative idea at its foundation. The Fuji table is a piece that enchants: for the minimal simplicity of the design and for the skilled execution of fine cabinetmaking. Born from an intuition that arose from watching what we have often admired in nature documentaries: the gem that stretches and widens to form the corolla of petals in a flower. Thus, twelve curved and shaped wood wedges are born from below, approach as they rise and then explode, moving away and widening to form the large top. The resulting central hole allows you to visually enjoy the essence and shape of the table, but, if needed, thanks to a fixed and lowered internal top, it becomes a container and frame for a plant or an object you want to enhance.
