Description

The Archway console by Rodolfo Dordoni features an innovative design characterized by an elegant and modern silhouette. The structure includes a cantilevered door that defines the handle, and a central open compartment with a drawer that adds movement to the piece. The base, made from wood, conceals a practical additional drawer, while the console is beautifully finished on both sides, allowing it to be positioned against a wall or in the center of a room as a partition element. Customization is possible with glossy lacquer finishes and a 45° beveled top, available in wood or marble. The console also features specially designed hinges and can be accessorized with an LED lighting system and Eco Skin drawer inserts. Archway is ideal for the dining or living area, thanks to its versatility. Its construction includes high-quality materials such as wood, smoked glass, and marble, and it is available in various finishes and dimensions.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
