Description

The 505 UP system provides exceptional flexibility in its dimensions. The wall center distance ranges from 320 mm to 1920 mm, with 32 mm increments for each final side panel. Available heights range from 465 mm to 2961 mm, with the option for custom cutting. The depth of the structure can be adjusted between 320 mm and 400 mm, allowing for various configurations.

For assembly, a minimum space of 3 cm in height is required, and when inserting into a compartment, an additional width of 4 cm is needed for floor-standing compositions and 6 cm for wall-mounted suspended compositions. Reductions in width, height, and depth are performed to the millimeter, with the customer bearing the cost of the modification.

The modularity allows for full customization of each element in the system, although there are some restrictions on specific configurations and accessories, such as internal drawers, glass doors, and modules with particular depths.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
