Description

The Iren desk is available in two versions: Freestanding and Wall. The Freestanding version features a top supported by a sawhorse base, while the Wall version is fixed directly to the wall without floor supports. The top consists of two overlapping surfaces in beech plywood with ash edging. The lower "L"-shaped surface is fixed and includes a recessed area for storing small objects. The upper surface slides on internal guides and rests on a metal box lacquered in matte black, which conceals the sliding mechanism and, in the Wall version, can house two USB sockets. The desk is available in RH and LH versions, depending on the sliding direction of the upper surface.

In the Freestanding version, the connection between the top and the sawhorse base is secured by a matte black lacquered steel plate. The Wall version features a solid ash support with a lower plate and two matte black lacquered metal brackets for wall anchoring. The support can be equipped with LED lighting. The top edges are veneered in ash and available in wenge-stained or moka-stained finishes. The sawhorse base and wall support, made of solid ash, are coordinated in the same finishes. The top upholstery is available in ColorSphere® and Saddle Extra, with edge stitching either tone-on-tone or contrasting. The Poltrona Frau logo is heat-embossed on the lower corner of the sliding top.

The Wall version includes two USB sockets on the opposite side of the sliding top and a 3000K LED lighting system, 10 watts/meter, with an on/off button on the left side of the wooden support. The system is supplied with a universal adapter. The Freestanding version includes two USB sockets on the opposite side of the sliding top. Screws for fixing the Wall version are not provided by Poltrona Frau.
