The seat and backrest, conceived as two floating geometric planes, are supported by a refined solid wood structure with trestle-style sides, balancing formal precision with visual lightness. Cassina’s exclusive reissue pays homage to the original’s craftsmanship, brought to life through the company’s exceptional expertise in woodworking. The frame is crafted in solid ash or walnut with a matte finish; the internal structure features steel elements and elastic webbing, covered with cold-foamed polyurethane and a black velveteen lining laminated with polyurethane. Upholstery options include fabric or leather, completing a piece conceived to transcend trends and express lasting elegance.
