Its solid wood frame extends from floor to ceiling with height-adjustable uprights that support shelves and storage units, all freely positionable to create endlessly variable compositions. Designed to function equally well against a wall or as a freestanding room divider, Infinito is accessible from both sides and can serve either as a bookcase or a display system for a wide range of objects. Since 2008, thanks to the application of industrial manufacturing techniques, Cassina has introduced numerous frame and component options, unlocking the full potential of the system—as its name suggests, to infinity. The shelves and units, equipped with standard or drop-down doors, come in natural ashwood, black-stain ashwood, or American walnut, combining technical precision with refined finishes that enhance the timeless elegance of this modern design icon, still perfectly attuned to today’s interiors.
