Description

The Augusto modular sofa, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, blends timeless elegance with versatile composition. Its evolution introduces curved modules for circular configurations, perfect for refined hospitality. The aesthetic is defined by distinctive piping, while comfort is ensured by ergonomic design, polyurethane foam padding, and cushions in recycled polyester fiber. The aluminum base with non-slip feet guarantees stability. Available in leather or fabric, Augusto adapts to various space requirements with a wide range of modular configurations.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
