Description

Casper, designed by Vincent Van Duysen in 2019, is a project that blends functionality with elegant design. Available finishes include matte and glossy lacquer in colors from the Molteni&C range, eucalyptus and graphite oak or coffee wood veneer, as well as satin-finished peltro or copper for the sides. The top can be made of Eco Skin, available in colors like gray, mink, hemp, ivory, dark brown, earth, taupe, and artic. Every element, including the sides, shelf, drawer front, and top, is crafted from high-quality materials such as particleboard coated with melamine or wood veneer, ensuring both durability and style.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
