Description

To ensure perfect compatibility between the bed and mattress, it's essential to check that the bed frame and mattress measurements match those indicated in the catalog. Specifically, for models with a tilting bed frame, the mattress should not exceed a weight of 45 kg. Additionally, the product comes with a removable cover, but in some cases, the cover can only be removed by qualified personnel, as outlined in the warnings.

Upon request, the product can also be provided in a flame-retardant version, complying with BS 5852 and TB 117-2013 standards, offering extra safety. It is important to emphasize that it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the product complies with local regulations and meets the specific requirements of its intended use.

As for materials and finishes, the headboard frame is made of welded steel with cold-foamed polyurethane padding, while the fixed bed frame features a metal structure with polyurethane foam padding and a velvet lining. Alternatively, the version with storage includes a metal frame with wooden panels covered in melamine, finished with a matte black lacquer on the exterior, ensuring both durability and a sleek design.

The product is available with various foot options, including the fixed version in painted steel, and the storage version with chrome-plated feet for a more luminous and refined look. The slats are made of wood with a lifting mechanism, and the handles are made of nylon for practicality and longevity.

The bed comes in various sizes, suitable for double mattresses or two single mattresses. The standard depth is 200 cm, but a customized 210 cm version is also available, ensuring the bed fits perfectly into any space and meets different needs.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
