Description

SKiN, designed by Jean Nouvel, is a seating system with an internal metal frame, padded with polyurethane for comfort and durability. The feet are made of non-slip plastic material, and the non-removable upholstery is made from vegetable-tanned leather dyed in a range of colors from the catalog. The minimalist design and the quality of the materials used give the product timeless elegance, suitable for a variety of environments.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
