Description

The Remi console is a meditation on materials, form, and craftsmanship. Designed to be placed behind the new Augusto sofa, it echoes the proportions of the sofa and provides a solid counterbalance to the soft and voluminous silhouette of the backrest. The frame, crafted from solid wood with a base joint in solid wood, is available in the precious coffee oak veneer. The top, made from a wood panel covered with ash veneer and solid wood perimeter sections, exemplifies the artisanal skill and attention to detail of Molteni&C, with the grain creating a unique pattern. With its elegant shape, Remi fits perfectly into various layouts and is available in the dimensions of 230 x 55 h 55 cm.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
