Description

The chaise longue's shape is achieved by curving and assembling several layers of wood, creating a distinctive form that develops in an intricate manner. The differentiated-density cushions, connected by hidden zippers, form a harmonious set that embraces the structure. These cushions can be made from various fabrics and leathers from the Molteni&C collection, perfectly harmonizing with the other elements of the collection. The adjustable headrest, balanced by a metal connector, provides optimal comfort. Tuscany is available in two versions: one with an eucalyptus finish and satin brass details, and another with a Sunrise oak finish and stainless steel, offering a more contemporary effect. An innovative piece of furniture that perfectly combines form and functionality, adding a touch of style to any living space.

The chaise longue's structure is made from solid ash wood in eucalyptus stain or Sunrise oak, while the metal parts are in satin brass or stainless steel. The cushions are made of high-density polyurethane with polyester fiber padding, covered in a cotton-polyester blend. The roll cushion, also made of high-density polyurethane, is covered in cotton and polyester fiber. The straps are made of leather, available in the colors of the Molteni&C range. The Tuscany chaise longue measures 70.5 cm in height and 189 cm in length, while the headrest measures 73.5 x 58 cm.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
